What is praise?

What is worthy?

Are my hands better servants lifted up, unrestricted

or curled around this young apostle, I’m conflicted

Is a hallelujah only heard if it’s shouted?

Is praise only real if you dance?

Does it still reach heaven if it’s quiet?

I look down, he doesn’t stir from his slumber

Should I put him down to sing my Hallelujah?

Someone whispers that this is important

So with heart loud, but voice quiet I do not disturb him

I still hold praise in my hand
